How very excited I was after calling the Sabah Tourism board to find out there was a Rafflesia flower in bloom up in Tambunan Nature Reserve during my stay.  With just two days in Kota Kinabalu we were lucky enough to get the opportunity to see the worlds largest flower in bloom!

Yangshuo Paradesa Hotel Update

It is almost 2 weeks on and the Paradesa Hotel in Yangshuo remains closed due to a dispute between joint venture partners.   The problems are obviously quite severe for things to become so extreme for such an extended period.
Guess we will all have to wait and see just what happens next.
