48 hours ago I lay stretched out on a wonderful, over-sized beach lounge lapping up the pure delight of being in the gorgeous surroundings of White Sand beach in Boracay (Philippines).
After yesterdays sensational sunset wedding this morning we have ventured out of the luxury resort environs and moved around the headland to what I can only describe as sheer paradise.
Same crystal clear, vivid jewel like turquoise waters wash on shores of the beach’s fine, white silky sands. The laid back simple accommodations are a beachfront bargain. And the small bar next door has simply fantastic food that is both delicious and reasonably priced.
What better way to spend the day than reclining on a pile of cushions in the shade beachside, sipping on an ice cold beer and gazing lazily across the water as the occasional traditional styled sailing boat glides by in the distance.
